Ben Stein has an
article in the American Spectator bemoaning the mess that is the 680-page Stimulus Bill. If you wanted to put the money in the hands of those who need it most, here's an idea:
For the amount spent we could have given every unemployed person in the United States roughly $75,000.
We could give every person who had lost a job and is now passing through long-term unemployment of six months or longer roughly $300,000.
The whole article is great. Lets hope the Senate can stop this boondoggle.
